CEPS at UNIDO's Global Green Industrialisation Dialogue
The Global Green Industrialization Dialogue (GGID) is an initiative organised by UNIDO bringing together ministers, CEOs, and institutional partners aiming to shape a shared industrial pathway for the green economy. This informal event that took place in Vienna, Austria, on 7-8 July 2025, will set the framework for the Global Green Industrialisation Pact, grounded in four pillars — Finance, Technology and Innovation, People, and Resilient Cleantech Supply Chains. The Pact will outline a shared vision for the industrial sector, including the priority actions, targets, and partnerships needed to accelerate the green industrial transformation.
Our CEPS colleague, Edoardo Righetti, was invited to participate in the roundtable “From Pipeline to Offtake: Unlocking Demand for Green Industrial Investment” during the first day of the event. The discussion focused on the market uptake of emerging energy technologies and deliver investments identifying specific actions to mobilise governments, industries, and various players towards moving projects from planning to offtake agreements.
