TRANSIENCE at ECEMP 2026

The European Climate and Energy Modelling Platform (ECEMP) constitutes a forum for exchanging research, development, and practice of energy system and integrated assessment modelling in Europe and, where feasible, promoting the sharing of data and resources. It provides a peer-reviewed digest of models and policy insights for the transformation of the European energy system and thus increases the efficiency, integrity, and access to European energy and climate modelling data, scenarios, tools and results.

Apart from chairing the 2026 ECEMP edition’s “Open Science, model evaluation and transparency” session, as represented by Project Quality Manager Konstantinos Koasidis (ICCS) and Platform Lead Georgios Xexakis (HOL), TRANSIENCE featured strongly in the latest ECEMP edition with several presentations.
