NRW stakeholder workshop successfully concluded

We are happy to report that the second round of TRANSIENCE stakeholder workshops kicked-off on November 2025 with the Rhine-Ruhr, North Rhine Westphalia (DE) case study!

This new round of intensive stakeholder engagement aims to validate the enhanced sattelite modules of MIC3 in the project's targeted four regional case studies (incuding Rhine-Ruhr [DE], Port of Rotterdam [NL], Basque Country [ES], and Silesia [PL]), ensuring that it will be able to respond to real-world questions supporting policy and industry decision-making. 

The NRW stakeholder workshop was held in Wuppertal on 27 November 2025, focusing on how can circular economy (CE) measures contribute to the competitiveness of the chemical industry. 

A total of 9 external participants, including representatives of 2 major plastic companies, independent consultants, researchers, and authorities representatives, engaged in very intense discussions around these possibilities and their representation in modelling activities.
